Refund and Returns Policy

At GrondWerk & Containers, we are committed to delivering high-quality containers and ensuring customer satisfaction. This Refund and Returns Policy explains how refunds, returns, and exchanges are handled for purchases and leases made through grondwerkcontainers.com.


1. General Policy

All sales and leases are subject to the terms and conditions confirmed at the time of order.
By purchasing or leasing from us, you agree to comply with this Refund and Returns Policy.


2. Returns Eligibility

Due to the size and logistical complexity of container transport, returns are accepted only in specific cases:

  • The wrong product was delivered (e.g., incorrect type, size, or specification).

  • The container was delivered in a condition that does not match the agreed description (e.g., not β€œnew” when sold as new, or with significant undisclosed defects).

  • A manufacturing or structural defect is discovered within 7 days of delivery for new containers.

To qualify for a return:

  • The container must remain in the same condition and location as delivered.

  • You must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery.

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or delivery note) must be provided. 

  • All refund of products must be within 7 days of delivery. Refund timeline is within 7 days for all Products


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items and services are non-returnable:

  • Custom-built or modified containers (e.g., those with added doors, insulation, branding, or windows).

  • Used containers sold β€œas is.”

  • Containers that have been moved, modified, or damaged after delivery.

  • Transport, handling, or leasing fees already incurred.


4. Refunds

Once we receive your return request and have inspected the container:

  • You will receive written confirmation of the inspection outcome.

  • If approved, refunds will be issued within 3 business days after inspection using your original payment method (unless otherwise agreed).

  • Refunds will exclude any applicable delivery, pickup, or handling fees unless the return is due to our error.


5. Exchanges

If you receive a damaged or incorrect container, we may offer a replacement or exchange instead of a refund, subject to availability and your preference.


6. Cancellations

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on administrative and preparation costs.

  • Orders cancelled after dispatch are subject to restocking and transport fees.

  • Custom or modified containers cannot be cancelled once production has begun.


7. Leasing Contracts

For leased containers:

  • Lease payments already made are non-refundable.

  • Early termination may result in additional fees as stated in your lease agreement.

  • Containers must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.


8. How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return or refund request, please contact us with the following:

  • Your order number,

  • Delivery date, and

  • Photos showing the issue (if applicable).
